The BQM-167A is a high performance UAV/Target system developed, manufactured and assembled at our Sacramento, California facility.  The aircraft was selected in July 2002 by the USAF as the singular next generation Air Force Subscale Aerial Target (AFSAT) and replaces two legacy platforms.

This multi-role capable aircraft is easily adaptable to various command and control systems including both tri-lateration and GPS. From nose-to-tail and tip-to-tip, our state-of-the-art platform is manufactured using the latest in carbon fiber composites technologies similar to those used in the most advanced fighter aircraft flying today.

With an overall length of 20 ft and a wingspan just short of 11 ft, the BQM-167A is capable of speeds in excess of .91 Mach, aggressive advanced maneuvers up to 9g’s and performance in an altitude envelope from 20 ft to 50k ft.  Flexibility is what distinguishes this superb aircraft from others.  With the ability to stay aloft over 3 hours, over 7 cubic ft of configurable internal payload space and the ability to carry external payloads on each wing, the BQM-167A soars above the competition.
